Restaurant employees and customers were evacuated from Jack Baker’s Lobster Shanty mid-afternoon last week after a bomb threat was telephoned in by an anonymous caller, according to the Ocean County Observer. The threat was called in at about 2 p.m., and by 3 p.m. the fire companies and K-9s were finished inspecting the building and all were allowed to re-enter. The threat is still under investigation.
