An angry patron punched two employees of a seafood restaurant after being told he could not get more crab legs. Despite having “several servings” of crab legs, the unidentified man, dining with a woman and two children around 10 p.m. Friday at Mongolian Buffet on 12 Mile Road, got upset that the kitchen was closing 30 minutes later, Detective Sgt. Michael Torey said Monday. A manager told the unhappy customer he could have anything else from the buffet. After the man placed a $20 bill on the counter, an employee informed him his bill totaled $44.95. The manager and a cashier stood in the man’s path, and the angry diner slugged both of them before he took back the $20 and left the restaurant with the woman and children. It was not immediately known whether they are a family, but they were last seen in a black Cadillac on northbound Ryan Road. Neither worker was seriously injured or requested medical attention, police said. Detectives are investigating.
