| A Fall River woman was arrested for allegedly stealing about $300 worth of shrimp from two stores at about 2 p.m. Kathryn Donovan of Fall River was charged with two counts of shoplifting and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle after taking shrimp from the Stop & Shop and Wal-Mart Supercenter. According to police, Donovan made off with $181 worth of shrimp in grocery store bags at the Stop & Shop on Route 44. As store security guards investigated the incident, she was arrested at the Wal-Mart Supercenter for allegedly stealing $99 worth shrimp. Donovan was released after he mother arrived at the police station and paid her bail. |
